Warden Message: Dong Nai Bridge Traffic Diversion

August 16, 2007 Local police authorities have informed the consulate that traffic restrictions will soon be in effect at the Dong Nai bridge, located along Highway 1 in Bien Hoa City , Dong Nai province. Beginning August 20, vehicles seating seven passengers or less and heading towards Ho Chi Minh City will be diverted to the Hoa An bridge, also located in Bien Hoa city. According to Vietnamese government officials, current vehicular traffic exceeds the structural capacity of the bridge thereby necessitating the diversion.
