Liberal Arts Colleges and Student Life: A Discussion with Faculty and Students From Augustana College

The American Center and EducationUSA Advising Center are pleased to announce an informative and fun program about the benefits of studying at a liberal arts college in the United States. Faculty from Augustana College, a small liberal arts college in Rock Island, Illinois, will discuss why a liberal arts degree is a popular choice for many students. An interactive and fun discussion with 20 Augustana students about college life in the United States will follow.

Mardi Gras Celebration in America

Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday in English, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a Carnival celebration well-known throughout the world. During this event, the streets come alive with bands, parades, and tourists!

Come find to out why many people say, “It took the city of New Orleans to transform the centuries-old celebration of Mardi Gras into American’s Greatest Party.”
