Media Resource Center Opening Ceremony

Consul General Seth Winnick and the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Chairwoman Ms. Hang Nga cut the ribbon for Vietnam’s first Media Resource Center at the HCMC Journalism Association on Friday, February 9 at 9:00 AM. Funded by a $20,000 small democracy grant, the center features multimedia reference collections in English and Vietnamese, a television, DVD, fax, copier and computer station with free internet, and a small meeting space for meetings. The center will be open to journalists, students and professors free of charge.
