Consulate Hosts Presidents Day Event for Tien Giang Students

On February 24 members of the Tien Giang English Club traveled to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in a U.S. Consulate-sponsored program, "American Windows in Ho Chi Minh City." Consulate Officer Kanika Mak-Lavy introduced a documentary about the White House and led the follow-up discussion about American presidential history and other cultural topics. Afterwards, the Consulate hosted a pizza lunch, where club members had a chance to chat informally with Consulate staff about all aspects of American government and society.
