Mission Speaker Kathleen Peoples Gives US-bound Students Recipes for University Success

Consulate officer Kathleen talks to students of Vietnam National University

Aware that a great number of foreign students in US colleges struggle with various problems without asking for the proper support, Consulate officer Kathleen Peoples visited Vietnam National University, the Center for International Education in Ho chi Minh City on March 21, 2008. She discussed the purpose of counseling and her former experiences as Counseling Center director with 42 students at both the undergraduate and graduate level, explaining the many services available to help them succeed. Students in the audience are scheduled to transfer either to the University of Houston – Clear Lake (UHCL) in Houston, Texas or to the Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Oklahoma in the fall of 2008.
