Consul General Applauds US housing assistance in the Mekong Delta

During his April 5-7 visit to Kien Giang and An Giang Provinces, Consul General Seth Winnick met with Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). With its presence in the Mekong Delta, HFHI provides financial assistance to people living in substandard housing through communal loans. During his visit to the Minh Hoa Commune in Kien Giang Province, the Consul General met with local authorities and toured the homes of three HFHI beneficiaries. The Consul General commended HFHI for its humanitarian efforts and its rapid progress in Vietnam.
