ELF Ivon Katz meets with English teachers at Can Tho University

English Language Fellow Ivon Katz presented two successful workshops on English teaching methods at An Giang University and Can Tho University from April 23-24. More than 80 lecturers of English and Master’s degree students attended the workshops and talked about teaching techniques. Discussion and presentation topics included Computer-Assisted Language Learning, Using Audacity to Make Audio Recordings, Testing of Communicative Skills, Using Word Processing to Teach Writing and other English teaching-related issues. These workshops are part of ongoing educational exchange programs managed by the Public Affairs Section of the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to assist university faculty in improving their professional knowledge and English teaching skills.
