Deputy Principal Officer (DPO) Kenneth Chern represented the U.S. Mission at the Cham Museum opening of an exhibit of traditional costumes and musical instruments of the Cham ethnic minority and the Kate ceremony – a Cham New Year’s celebration – funded by a $25,000 grant from the U.S. Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation. While in Danang, DPO Chern also visited the American Library Corner and met with representatives of the Danang Ho Chi Minh Political Academy and Danang University faculty.
