The Consul General met with national and local media during a press briefing and round table discussion during his visit to Binh Dinh province. The Consul General's comments applauding the coastal province's impressive economic growth and infrastructure development projects were published in Binh Dinh Newspaper and Binh Dinh TV for two consecutive days, reaching over a million viewers and readers. Tuoi Tre Daily, Vietnam's most widely circulated national newspaper, also reported the visit.

At Quy Nhon University, CG received a warm welcome from university leaders, lecturers and students. The CG toured the campus and also met with Fulbright alumni, and American English teachers to discuss the province's socioeconomic development.

The provincial government also highlighted the Consul General's visit, posting coverage on the provincial government's website (link attached below).

This visit was the Consul General's first to Binh Dinh Province and paves the way for increased cooperation for the ConGen from both an academic and business standpoint in this dynamic province of rapid growth.
