Students work in groups to answer questions about U.S. elections

As part of the Consulate General’s series of events surrounding the United States Presidential Elections, Assistant Public Affairs Officers visited Ho Chi Minh City’s American International School to give a presentation to high school students on the history of U.S. elections. Students broke up into groups to compete for prizes by answering questions about elections, then listened to a presentation that included information about the electoral college, the primaries, the conventions, and other topics of interest. Students asked about the major issues in this campaign and were also curious about the electors' ability to vote independently.
