Consulate General Team Increases the U.S. Involvement in Central Vietnam

Consulate General HCMC team, including Consul General Seth Winnick, Principal Commercial Officer Robert Bannerman, Political Officer Robert Silberstein, Economic Officer Heather Variava, Public Affairs Officer Kimberly Gillen, Regional Security Officer John Milkiewickz and Consular Officer Marcia Anglarill visited Danang and Quang Nam October 5-7. The goals of this trip were to expand the Consulate’s presence within Central Vietnam and to promote the economic and cultural ties of this region with America. In Danang City and Quang Nam province, the ConGen team met with the People’s Committee Chairman and the Party Secretaries. The team also held a reception where key individuals from the provinces of Danang, Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue, as well as American business community attended.
