On October 20, Consul General Kenneth Fairfax described the U.S. presidential election process to students and faculty of Dong A College in Danang. His talk covered the history of U.S. elections, emphasizing both how the process has evolved over time and a number of factors that make them unique, such as the two-staged nominating/electing process, the role of the Electoral College, and the role of campaigns.
