Office Hours

The American Citizen Services unit is open to the public as follows:

Notarial services (including affidavits, acknowledgments, authentication, etc.), passport services (including renewals, additional pages and pickup) and other services: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Consular Report of Birth Abroad: by appointment only. Please refer to the Report of Birth Abroad page.

Emergencies (such as cases of illness, death, destitution or arrest): Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At all other times, please call (08) 822-9433 within Vietnam, or (+84)(8)822-9433 internationally.

We are closed to the public on Fridays and on both Vietnamese and American holidays, except for emergency services as noted above.
